Proposed changes to the state's Consumer
Directed Services Program--including a plan to contract with an outside
firm to assess consumer needs--threaten to undermine the future of home
care for many in the state. Seniors, people with disabilities and home care attendants held a press conference April 7th in the Capitol to call on the Governor and their elected officials to protect Missouri families by stopping attempts to cut care and fully funding the state's home care program.
